Penang is very dear to both Gunawan & me. It never once crosses our mind that we would be in love with this island until a few years back when my dad had to get a heart surgery and Gunawan came along with us. We immediately fell in love with the food and culture.
The Edison is one of the most beautiful hotels in Penang. It's located near the Cheong Fatt Tze, The Blue Mansion. Truly an instagram-worthy place in Penang. Georgetown is filled with so many decent places to visit, cultural & heritage buildings, hotels, cafes, restaurants, and many more.
3D arts in the streets of Georgetown, Penang. You can see a lot of street art like these and also wall painting or mural. Some of the murals are noticeably more famous and become one of the most searched tourist attraction here.
Only two of so many other artistic murals we could found along the way.
So happy to be able to find this postcard store. The thing we always do when we travel is to buy a postcard as a keepsake that will always help us remember each of our trip. This vintage store has a lot of cats everywhere in almost every spot. If you're a cat lover, that's a bonus for you.
You can also see the famous murals on the right shelf. Lots of murals still needed to be explored but we just couldn't deal with the weather that day.
Passing by this beautiful white church in Church Street on our way back. We decided to end our stroll sooner because it was scorching hot and went mall hopping instead.
Another Penang post is coming up next. Stay tuned!
