Photographing this shopping district is a never-ending fun. Ginza is heaven when it comes to luxury shopping, dining and entertainment. This district is occupied with the best kind of stores which simply show elegant and luxury. Exploring Ginza in one day is just impossible, I wish we had extra free days to explore more of this district.
Let me break it down for you, Itoya is by far the best stationary store I've ever known my whole life. A 12-floors wide-ranging stationary store that sells cards, pop-up cards, writing instruments, home goods, travel goods, custom notebooks, all kinds of paper with different textures & colors and many more.
G. Itoya is the main store and there's another 6-floors building at the back of the main store called K. Itoya. K. Itoya is focusing more on pens, crafts and any other art supplies which was a definite paradise for my sister.
Gunawan loves Odaiba so much, it's love at the first sight for him. He's mesmerized by the beautiful night view of Rainbow Bridge from The Decks.
Our most favorite neighborhood of all, we had to come here twice because once is clearly not enough. This time we've tried Kyushu Jangara, visited Line Store & Dominique Ansel Bakery.
To be said a better ramen than Ichiran, we certainly need to give it a try. Kyushu Jangara definitely got a place on our favorite ramen list. Considering the 'so many' claims that Kyushu Jangara is better than Ichiran, it's definitely a very good ramen but we don't think that it's better than Ichiran. The thing we love about Ichiran is the way we can customize how we want our ramen to be and it's kind of special in its own way.
We love Kyushu for the toppings and how they actually made a good combination with the broth. Both Ichiran & Kyushu Jangara are delicious and certainly worth to try.
Who can resist all the cuteness in this store?
Luke's Lobster is originated from New York City. Given the fact that reading New York travel blogs is my favorite virtual travel adventure, I'm well aware of Luke's Lobster thanks to my obsession with New York City.
We unintentionally found Luke's Lobster (2015) when we turned on this lil' alley. I'm jumping out of excitement when we saw a long queue and the name board says 'Luke's Lobster'. Thank God for that! If lobster isn't high in cholesterol we would probably ordered 2 rolls already for each person.
Dominique Ansel Bakery
New York City's famous bakery that first invented cronut, yes, the one and only Dominique Ansel Bakery! It is famous for its Cronut, DKA, Cookie Shot, and Frozen S'mores. Unfortunately all these well-known items we listed above are all sold out except for the Chocolate Chip Cookie Shot that we thought was quite nice.
A short trip to Kyoto on our way to Osaka.
