Our hearts are filled with so much joy welcoming this Christmas season. As a warm welcome to our second year of Christmas, here is a step-by-step guide to make these angelic Christmas Tree cupcakes. As for colors, well, what could be more angelic than the classic combination of white & gold? We promise you these cupcakes will be a hit at any of your Christmas events.
Let's start off by preparing all the bits & pieces, you'll need:
6 Vanilla Cupcakes with Gold Liners
6 Flat Top Sugar Cone
500 gr Vanilla Buttercream
1 Open Star Piping Tip (Wilton 17)
1 Round Piping Tip (Wilton 1A)
2 Piping Bag
Edible Gold Pearls (for decoration purpose)
Using round piping tip, create a swirl on top of the cupcake. It doesn’t have to be perfect because what we want is to create snow-covered effect to it.
Place all the flat top sugar cones upside down.
Cover the sugar cones roughly with buttercream using icing spatula.
Pipe the buttercream with small open star tip starting from the bottom to the top.
Get your gold pearls ready and sprinkle them on the white Christmas trees. The gold pearls really do their job of imitating twinkling Christmas lights.
