"A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person."
Today marked our very first wedding anniversary and the 10th year of us being together. This year has been one incredible year together, never thought marriage could be this fun. Being with each other, cuddling, teasing, tickling, and laughing are the things we look forward to every night. We never miss a day without saying "I love you" no matter how rough the day is.
Two different persons with two different backgrounds sailing a boat for ten years is definitely not easy, the water isn't always calm. Sometimes you hit a storm or even an iceberg. Relationship requires a lot of effort, maturity, patience, and commitment but most of all God's grace had given us the strength to overcome every struggle all these years. Being close to God is the key to everything. Looking back, we have faced so many things together and we're amazed at how God works. God is so good!
For our 1st anniversary, I prepared a little celebration by creating this cutesy dessert table with white & peachy blush roses. I put our initials made of whitewashed wood to add more personalisation to the celebration.
Tried my best to make this buttercream cake. To make it a bit more rustic I topped it with some fresh flowers & my DIY cake topper. Thankfully it turned out shockingly well, considering I rushed it big time.
Petite cakes from Keik by Ivy Florist. Thank you for sending us these cute naked cakes!
This is by far the prettiest pop-up card ever! Gunawan knows that I'm a big fan of pop-up cards and books since I was a little girl and this is only one of the so many thoughtful things he did, simply to make me happy.
Cheers to many more anniversary to come!
